Im u Ko Terte

"Im u Ko Terte" is a project of volunteers of Civil Society Institute. This newspaper is issued once a month and every time it is devoted to a different social or youth topic. The aim of this newspaper is to encourage youth from regions of Armenia to discuss about actual topics, get them to know the experience of other countries while solving the problems and also to give them basic knowledge about journalism and to encourage them to express their thoughts. The broader goal of this newspaper is to involve youth into civic actions and to provide them an opportunity to spend their free time as well as to help them to develop a social network between different regions.

This second issue of Im u Ko Terte is devoted to the issue of emigration. In this issue young people tried to pinpoint the reasons and consequences of leaving to another country and at the same time to tell what is home for them and what it would mean to leave it. This time it is for a large part created by youth from Vartenis, Martuni and Chambarak, in cooperation with some foreigners and people from Yerevan. Im u Ko team did workshops with discussions and writing in these northern towns and after this many young people sent their stories. The best stories are chosen and published in Im u Ko terte new edition, which you can download now.
