Key Facts About Nagorno Karabakh Conflict

On February 18th, 2009, Civil Society Institute organized a presentation of “Key facts about Nagorno Karabakh conflict” book and “10 Questions about Karabakh conflict” booklet. The co-authers, who represented the “Sahmanagits” team talked about the idea and preparation of the book. The book is targeted at raising the awareness of the general public on the basic facts of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. It lays out facts and figures about the events that preceded the conflict, the developments during the war of early 1990s and suggests a glimpse on the ongoing peace talks. The book and booklet are intended to serve as a guide for providing information for various situations when the conflict is discussed. The participants discussed different situations related communication and information exchange while discussing the NK conflict with Azeri counterpart during conferences and meetings in different countries.
