Meeting with Burcu Becermen, representative of “Hrant Dink” International Foundation

On December 9th Burcu Becermen, representative of “Hrant Dink” International Foundation, was hosted in Civil Society Institute NGO. The participants of the meeting were senior pupils of “Aregnazan” school. The pupils’ questions addressed to the guest mostly concerned Armenian-Turkish relations, recognition of the Armenian genocide by Turkey, the awareness and opinions of youth in Turkey about this, the issue of restoration of Armenian churches and Armenian historical territories. The participants also wondered what the pupils in Turkey learn from the textbooks on history about 1915.

The meeting was organized in the framework of “Conflict capable school – conflict capable society” program.
