On May 15 Civil Society Institute organized a presentation of an animation movie “Nature’s demands”, made by Armenian children and two volunteers from Lithuania and France.
During 5 month 8 schoolchildren from school 119 in Yerevan participated in the realization of an animated movie “Nature’s demand” concerning environmental issues in Armenia. Volunteer from France, Sebastian L’Hermitte and volunteer from Lithuania, Laura Valauskaite, helped them to express themselves, to discover animation techniques and to learn more about this topic.
The movie, which plot is based on children ideas, was made in plastiline, cut paper and drawing techniques. It tells a story about a family, which decides to make a picnic in the forest. After spending good time there, they leave lot of rubbish. Therefore inhabitants of the forest are angry because of disturbance of their life and organize small revenge to the family.
This movie was produced by Armenia Tree Project, a non – profit program based in Watertown and Yerevan. During the event, people could not only to see “Nature’s demands” animation, but to see other movies produced by different Armenian organizations, to participate in small workshop on creation of animation movie as well as to meet direction team of the movie.
